Since leaving the Military in 1992, David has been on a Journey to help people relieve their suffering and promote a healthy lifestyle. David earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Southeast College of Oriental Medicine, where he received the “Clinical Excellence” award given to the college’s highest achieving student. He trained under Dr. Gordon Xu, a Master in Oriental Medicine, and has been in private practice for over 18 years. He is contracted to do acupuncture at the Hanley Center.
Jin-Ping Wang (“Penny”) joins Balance Point Acupuncture Clinic, Inc. with over three years of experience practicing Acupuncture. Penny was born and lived in Liaoning Province (Northeast), China in the city of Dalian. She taught English in China prior to emigrating to the United States eight years ago. A graduate of Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. She holds a B.S. in Health Science and a M.S. in Oriental Medicine and practices Traditional Chinese Medicine in her approach to treating many common issues of her patients (e.g., Fertility, Pain and Pain Management, and Anxiety and Depression). Penny has a particular passion for herbology, which she credits with seeing the results of traditional Chinese herbal formulas and their effectiveness treating a variety of health issues.
